JCA’s Orchestra-Mini is a 10 piece ensemble who premiered last March at the LilyPad returns. We have a new collection of original extended jazz compositions by JCA resident composers Darrell Katz, Bob Pilkington, David Harris, and Mimi Rabson.

The JCA Orchestra-Mini is a new ensemble created out of the personnel of our full jazz orchestra. Composers are the regular JCA composers: Darrell Katz, Bob Pilkington, David Harris, and Mimi Rabson. We have the feel of chamber jazz but the energy of the full jazz orchestra. The writing style of the composers is fairly diverse and always interesting.
