A musical collective currently directed by Julian Picado (Costa Rica), Evan Eubanks (Florida), Dylan Del Olmo (Mexico) and Alejandro Gonzalez (Mexico). Our goal is to provide a space in which the musicians have the liberty to explore their sound through improvisation. Currently Maës is focusing on exploring the tradition of jazz improvisation with a modern electronic and alternative rock aesthetic.

Bosquejo en Riesgo

Literally translated Sketch at Risk,  a musical project formed by Costa Rican musicians Maria Amalia Quesada (voice) and José Arturo Soto (piano), both based in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Through experimentation and improvisation in various genres, ranging from Latin American folklore to jazz, their music explores and connects the musicians multicultural knowledge. Bosquejo en Riesgo is not afraid of musical boundaries and appeals to wide variety of audiences through original compositions and arrangements inspired from the Latin American influences.

Why Another

An internationally membered group currently based in Boston, MA. The five-piece group draws influences from a mixture of styles in creating a tapestry for songwriter Adi Malka’s compositions.
