Gun Mother
Gun Mother is a Boston based folk band that was founded in the middle of the winter a few years back by songwriters, Adam Glasseye (Reverend Glasseye) and Georgia Young. Initially inspired by weirdo folk acts, such as Roy Harper, Mimi and Richard Farina, Karen Dalton and Bill Fay as well as traditional American folk music, Gun mother sings songs about rabbits, geometry and fog.
Young Familiar
Young Familiar is the newest project from Ben Potrykus, formerly of Bent Shapes and Christians & Lions, where he plays alongside talented friends on upright bass, drums, accordion, and viola. Young Familiar performs dark folk and damaged pop, crafted to invoke, and inspired by independent and traditional musics, folklore, gnostic states, and radical politics.
Ryan Adair Rooney
Ryan Adair Rooney is a multi instrumentalist , singer and songwriter. His repertoire spans many genres from folk to electronic music and everything in between. Rooney grew up in New England but lives in the high desert landscape of Marfa Texas and his music reflects that. He is currently working on a solo record to be released on “super secret” in 2019.
