Sue is a warrior of the acoustic string music revolution. Bridging the very best of jazz and classical worlds, her exciting and incredibly creative musical style has been refined after studying at the Berklee College of Music.  Sue has shared the stage with Howard Shore, Gloria Estefan, Steve Winwood, Kathy Mattea, and Darol Anger of the Turtle Island String Quartet.  She has performed side-by-side with innovative and revolutionary fiddlers, Mark O’Connor, and recorded for Wyclef Jean.

Her passion for violin music has brought her all over the world.  Inspired by the variety of music for her instrument, she presented The String Revolution concerts with the help of friends in Victoria, B.C., and Boston MA.  Each concert is a variety of traditional folk songs, jazz swing tunes, and original compositions for string ensemble.

Currently, Sue is a member of Sweet Rasa, the band behind the eloquent movements of the Deborah Abel Dance Company, based out of Lexington MA. She also slings her bow alongside guitarist, songwriter and puppeteer Phil Berman. Phil's album The Battle Of Bunker Hill is available on Spotify and iTunes.

Past musical escapades include performing with guitar singer-songwriter Matt Koelsch as a duo, and in the five-piece alt/rock band Matt Koelsch and the Allies. She provided the American String sound with Women of the World, a ten-piece all-female world music ensemble composed of four vocalists who spread the message of peace and unity through music throughout the globe.
