Prateek is a singer-songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts. After taking up songwriting in college, he got his start as a musician playing the famed Lizard Lounge Open Mic in Cambridge Massachusetts, usually every week. In 2016, he released his debut EP, “Walking in My Sleep,” recorded in a bedroom with only his guitar and two microphones. Since then, Prateek has played on stages and at festivals across the United States, including the Kerrville Folk Festival and Club Passim. His most recent single "Emma," has been described as "stripped-down, honest heartbreak” (Vanyaland), and is available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. Prateek was nominated for “Songwriter of The Year” at the 2018 New England Music Awards and “Singer-Songwriter of The Year” at the 2018 Boston Music Awards.

The Couch Potatoes

Contrary to their moniker, The Couch Potatoes are far from lazy. Kate and Michael have been playing music together for the better part of 7 years and show no signs of hanging up the mics anytime soon. Their musical influences range from classic rock staples like Fleetwood Mac and Crosby Stills & Nash to modern pop icons such as Adele and Ed Sheeran. Drawing from the folk, indie, and alt-country genres to inform their musical style, they have a knack for putting unique two-part harmony spins on songs and even writing a few tunes of their own. They love playing for a group of dedicated followers and are thrilled to share their music with the Lilypad.
