Seth Faergolzia's Multibird
Between several musical projects and solo tours, Faergolzia has brought his madcap musical talent to stages in more than twenty countries throughout North America and Europe. - Paula Cummings, NYS Music
Ever since his days as the mastermind behind critically-acclaimed avant-boho outfit Dufus — whose landmark 2003 ROIR album 1:3:1 was described by AllMusic’s Jesse Jarnow as “the kind of record that could potentially change a listener’s life” — Seth Faergolzia has blazed colorful trails into modes of expression we couldn’t have foreseen even when Dufus were being hailed as “freak folk” innovators. Now, whether leading his current 18-person ensemble 23 Psaegz, performing as one half of the duo Forest Creature, or taking the stage as a one-man tornado of sound, Faergolzia continues to shake musical conventions until they froth over and explode.
The Perfect Trip
American Echoes is a duo that fuses identical twins Laura and Nina Ganci's influences based largely in Rhythm & Blues and Folk. They create a slight tension by the exploratory twisting of musical styles, enhanced by Laura’s diverse acoustic and electric guitar riffs, and their melodic harmonies that wax and wane from raspy to ethereal as they bounce across in stereo to deliver an emphatic experience.
American Echoes has a loyal following in New York, Connecticut, and their home, Boston, playing some of the most respected venues in each location. They are just about to release their second EP titled "Hungry". You can hear their first, self-titled EP on Spotify. The dynamic juxtaposition of the sisters in voice and in aura is captivating, as is their live show. You can't help but be enraptured, they are bound to leave an echoing impression.
