petra + n0izmkr is Providential disruption, semipermeable noise, and ritual communication.
petra improvises noisily with homemade and off-the-shelf electronics and voice. petra's first solo album, filament (Gold Bolus Recordings, March 2019), is "a space unto itself, vacuum sealed and complete" (Brian McCorkle, Jazz Right Now) and "precise and unpredictable, making repeat listens ... irresistible" (Marc Masters, Bandcamp Experimental). Based in Providence, Rhode Island, petra finished a Northeast US tour in Spring 2019 and has upcoming shows in Boston and Vermont.
