The Pritesh Walia Group will present an evening of original modern jazz music that explores the convergence of innovative, spearheading harmonic and compositional approaches with synergistic improvisation and masterful technical facility. While having an enlightened aesthetic, Walia’s music truly holds power in its ability to emotionally and empathetically connect with the audience. Walia’s extensive experience of teaching and performing has manifested in him, the ability to establish meaningful connections and experiences through his music. This along with his diverse background having lived in different parts of India, LA and Boston add to his distinctly captivating sound that you can experience as he performs with his group at The Lilypad on 14th November.

The Griffin Woodard Quintet specializes in original compositions with memorable melodies, infectious grooves, and deeply moving spiritual messages. The group aims to uplift, inspire, and communicate with their listeners through each note. Following the September release of their debut EP, 𝑲𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒆, the group is happy to present their music in Boston for the first time on a November tour.
