Lead by soprano vocalist and songwriter Cassie Kollman, Cassie Kollman and Friends is a group of Boston musicians who come from a variety of backgrounds, including pop/rock, jazz, classical, prog-rock, and soul. Together they create a unique blend of music which features each of the individual strengths and offers a diverse collection of moods and themes. The listening experience is both upbeat and contemplative, edgy and optimistic, groove-based and harmonically-intricate.
Cassie released her debut album, Lady in Shoes, in 2021; an eclectic mix of original compositions and collaborations. On the album, Cassie is heard unfiltered and on her own terms, leading her group of long standing collaborators through nuance and emotion.
