Our Chamber Series opener features beloved string quartet repertoire and collaborations with mezzo-soprano Sophie Michaux. Join us for a deep dive into the emotional and sonic landscapes of Ravel, Bjork, Errollyn Wallen, Joe Hisaishi, and Caroline Shaw. These pieces meditate on themes of missed connections, lost chances, and “what-ifs,” asking: “Is this the life you would have hoped for?” “If you were gone, would I still know how to love and how to grow?” “What is it that I have that makes me feel your pain?”
