Nat Mugavero - Drums

Nat Mugavero is a senior Statesman of jazz drumming having played for decades with many of the great local and world-renowned jazz and contemporary music artists.  He's continuously looking for WHAT ELSE!!!?? What some of the critics have said: "Are you going to play with the troops or go off on your own?" -Herb Pomeroy, circa 1980;  "Why is he playing like that?" -Coleman Hawkins, circa 1969; "It sounds like a cement mixer."-Paul Nieves, 1972.

Max Ridley – Bass

Max Ridley is musician, composer and educator. Ridley has shared the stage with renown musicians such as Jeff Coffin, Kenny Werner, Tia Fuller, Ralph Peterson, Terri Lyne Carrington, Jack Dejohnette, Bruce Molsky, Perico Sambeat, Walter Smith III and Jerry Bergonzi. He has performed in venues such as the Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Umbria Jazz Festival. He has played many different styles of music all over the US, Canada and Europe. Today he is active in New England as a sideman, leader and co-leader for many different groups, both on stage and in the recording studio. He also teaches music as a guest lecturer at different colleges around New England (such as Longy School of Music and the University of New Hampshire) and at the Hamilton-Garrett Music and Arts Academy.

Jesse Gallagher – Keys

Jesse is a composer, producer, performer, booking agent as well as a yoga & meditation instructor.  Jesse led the Boston based  Apollo Sunshine 2001-2010 which recorded three albums  and was featured in Rolling Stone, the New York Times, as well as performing on several late night TV spots and having songs featured in shows like “Breaking Bad” . Currently Jesse has a vibrant and growing following on Spotify and Youtube where you can listen to his solo albums “The Inner Sound”, “Sound to See” volumes I and II, single “The Winds Beyond” and more.

Isao – Guitar

Isao is a guitarist, improvisor and composer.  He graduated Berklee in the 80’s, was hired to work at Berklee by Lawrence Berk and worked there for a dozen years.  Isao broke away from the pick playing guitar technique and now plays finger-picking style.  He regularly plays at the Lilypad in free music settings and frequents the Variety Show on Wednesday at the Lilypad.
