An evening of beautiful folk-rock and contemplation from three aspiring Berklee bands.

Farren

Farren is a solo project led by 21 year old singer/songwriter Benjamin Catch. The music is about his home, California. By fusing elements of surf rock, cool jazz, and hip-hop grooves under a folk-rock guise, the romantic project seeks to provide a soundtrack to the serene truths found in nature. In rustling leaves and moon-castled seasides, the love we harbor runs deep, but often dormant. It is Ben’s goal to awaken it for himself any way he can.

Benji Jimenez

Benji Jimenez is a singer songwriter from New Jersey. His songs are written to give listeners a sense of recognition and shared experience as they discover words for what were, before, indescribable feelings. He focuses on healing, faith and the struggles we face within ourselves as we come to terms with who we are in the world around us.

Emilio Gonzalez

Emilio Gonzalez is a singer songwriter from Tampa, Florida whose style is akin to Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, and Andy Shauf. In 2008, Emilio found himself inspired by the musical stylings of The Rat Pack, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, and more. During his high school career, Emilio performed with his school jazz band and participated in Solo and Ensemble competitions. Entering his college years, Emilio found a love for writing music, looking to the work of independent singer songwriters Lucy Rose, Andy Shauf, Julia Jacklin, and more.  He continues to write songs through a creative mix of jazz and folk storytelling.
