Chris Corsano (b. 1975, USA) is a New York-based drummer who has been active at the intersections of collective improvisation, free jazz, avant-rock, and experimental music since the late 1990's. He's been the rim-batterer of choice for some of the greatest contemporary purveyors of "jazz" (Joe McPhee, Paul Flaherty, Mette Rasmussen, Zoh Amba) and "rock" (Sir Richard Bishop, Bill Orcutt, Jim O'Rourke), as well as artists beyond categorization (Björk for her Volta album and world tour, Michael Flower, Okkyung Lee).
His dedication to collective improvisation has led to Corsano to join forces with many kindred spirits and his appearance on over 180 records and thousands of live performances. Greg Kelley has performed throughout North America, Europe, Japan, Argentina & Mexico at numerous festivals, in clubs, outdoors, in living rooms, in a bank, and at least once on a vibrating floor. He has collaborated with a number of musicians across the globe performing experimental music, free jazz and noise, appearing on over 100 recordings in the process.
Born in North Carolina in 1971 and raised in Seattle, bassist Nate McBride has spent most of his musical life in Boston and Chicago. A bandleader, composer and improviser, McBride has performed on upright and electric bass with groups and musicians including Jason Adasiewicz's Sun Rooms, Jeb Bishop, Jaap Blonk, Cutout, Eric Boeren, Tony Buck, Nels Cline, Toby Delius, Jorrit Dijkstra, The Engines, Ellwood Epps, Pandelis Karayorgis, Mat Maneri, Nicole Mitchell, Joe Morris, Jeff Parker, Dave Rempis, Akira Sakata, Ken Vandermark, and Wheelhouse.
