Keytarist and singer songwriter Emi McSwain blends genres of new aged ambient music and country folk lyrics in her unique take on self aware indie rock. You might recognize her as the newest member of Boston indie-pop band, Air Traffic Controller, and in March 2023, will be launching her debut solo EP, Pat’s Class. This collection of original songs were written for her final songwriting class at Berklee College of Music, taught by world renown author and songwriter, Pat Pattison.

Sweet Petunia
When listening to queer freak folk duo Sweet Petunia for the first time, many are blown away by the interchanging vocal lines of Madison Simpson & Mairead Guy. Unbelievably, the two are not related, though their voices are almost indistinguishable from each other. These brother harmonies lead Sweet Petunia through many shifting genres, melding traditional folk sensibilities with a distinct punk flare. Established in Boston in 2018, the pair have spent the last four years cultivating their sound and playing over one hundred shows.
