Luciane Dom, multilingual singer, songwriter and producer, is part of a new generation of contemporary artists from Rio de Janeiro. She is a magnetic force in the contemporary Brazilian music scene. With an intimate and fiery voice, she weaves rhythms from the African diaspora with politically engaged lyrics that address Black identity, feminism, and collective empowerment.
In 2024 she was featured at venues such as Stanford Live, Quad City Arts, Lotus World Music and Arts Festival, and International Latino Cultural Center. She is part of the 2024/25 Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) roster.
Possessing a History degree from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, in addition to songwriting workshops, Luciane´s multilingual educational work primarily revolves around masterclasses and interactive classes covering traditional Afro-Brazilian rhythms including Samba, Bossa Nova, Forró, Axé, and Maracatu.
Luciane Dom is featured in May/June 2025 by presenters such as: The Hobby Center (TX), Belongó (NY), Exit Zero Jazz Festival (NJ), Levitt Pavilion (CO), AMP Concerts (NM), Woodstock Arts (GA), and others.
