Come join us for an evening of inspired music ranging from jazz, Bossa nova, funk, fusion, latin, pop, smooth jazz and original compositions. The performers who are current faculty or alumni at Berklee College of Music are:

Gail McArthur is a saxophonist, educator and composer originally from Scotland and has performed prolifically, including appearances for the television broadcasts Channel 4 UK Television, “Down the Line”, CNN's Berklee Special and CN8 “Nitebeat”. McArthur has performed with Benny Carter, Gerry Mulligan, Grover Washington, Don Cherry, Jackie McLean, Christian McBride, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Maria Schneider, Antonio Sanchez, The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Vital Information and Steve Smith, Dave Weckl and Horacio Hernandez. Gail was commissioned in 1999 and 2000 by the Scottish Arts Council to compose pieces for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra. After performing prolifically in the U.K. and U.S., McArthur is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, also teaching for Berkleemusic online. Gail has worked extensively in the New England scene with many General Business bands including Jerry Bennett, Allnighters, Perry Rossi and Platinum.

Renato Milone, originally from Italy is a dynamic drummer and music professional based in Boston. He's built an impressive career performing and touring internationally and recording with renowned artists including Whitney Houston. Marco Panascia, Sandro Deidda, and Lena Biolcati. Renato's versatile style and technical precision have made him a sought-after session drummer across a variety of genres. Currently on the Faculty at Berklee College of Music, where he teaches and develops courses in studio recording techniques and audio production. With a Bachelor's in Contemporary Writing and Production, a Bachelor's in Composing for Film, TV and Games, and a Master's in Film Scoring, Renato combines formal training with real-world experience.

Lorenzo Valentini is an electric bassist originally from Rome Italy. After studies in Rome, he performed extensively with local bands mainly in rock and progressive rock styles. He also performed around Italy and internationally in Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom. In 2004 he studied at Berklee College of Music, then relocating to Phoenix, AZ, where he performed with many local working bands in many different styles of music. Lorenzo is also trained as an opera singer and performed with Arizona and Phoenix Opera companies between 2010 - 15. Lorenzo is currently based in Boston where he is performing in several different settings including with 93SouthBand.

Giovanni Moltoni, originally from Turin, Italy, attended Berklee College of Music, graduating with honors in 1991. Afterwards at New England Conservatory receiving his MFA in Jazz Guitar. Giovanni played jazz on both a local and international scale, receiving his first press reviews. He was composing originals, playing with world-renowned jazz artists, and preparing for his first album, “Directions,” released on the Pentaflowers label, featuring Hal Crook - Trombone, Paul Del Nero - Bass and Marcello Pelliteri - Drums. Giovanni released several other albums including “Directions,” “Openground,” “Live,” and “Tomorrow's past.” After three Quartet recordings in 2016, Giovanni released the first Trio recording in over 10 years! "Just Another Night”, recorded live in Boston, and features Fernando Huergo - Bass and Marcello Pelliteri - Drums. This live CD presented 5 new Compositions and 4 Trio arrangements of compositions previously recorded with the Quartet. Giovanni began his career at Berklee College of Music in 1998, in the Ear Training Department, and teaching currently in rank of Professor.
