Noise, Experimental, Rock

Dress Better is a Boston based art-rock band fronted by Cora DA. Dress Better sets are intended to pull your attention and keep it undivided for the short 20ish minute performance, as the band covers as much ground as possible in that space. Working with concepts of close relationships and learning to take oneself less seriously, the band’s performances give people a moment to feel what’s most true to themself without needing to think of themself

Untitled Noise Night is a performance project shared between composer Emerson Borakove and sound artist Shiloh Blue. Formed in 2021 and continuing into the present, the project consists of improvised concerts of frenetic freeform noise and drone. Audience members are regularly given opportunities to participate in performances (handed instruments, prompted to shriek, or thrust on-stage), allowing all present to immerse themselves in deeply physical sound and contribute to the unwavering and intense conversational flow between Borakove and Blue. Performances have been described as hypnotic, danceable, animalistic, and evocative of the ritualistic sublime.
