Acclaimed guitar virtuoso Julien Kasper is a unique musician who has absorbed multiple genres into his musical DNA – rock, jazz, blues, funk, classical – to create a voice as a composer and improviser that is truly his own. Lush psychedelia, harmonic sophistication, nuanced phrasing, and Hendrix influenced “Band of Gypsies” era funk-rock are all on the table at a Julien Kasper concert. He brings his trio to featuring legendary Boston musicians Jesse Williams on bass and Zac Casher on drums.
