The AJ Foss Band is a blues-rock band based in Boston. AJ is a guitar player, singer, and songwriter from Maine. His playing style is rooted in the blues and inspired by classic rock. Some of his heroes include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and John Mayer. His band is composed of all Berklee students - drums, bass, keyboards, guitars, and vocals. With each member being a virtuosic musician in their own right, they bring a powerful presence to their performances. They play an eclectic mix of blues, rock, soul, and pop. They offer a mix of classic covers and refreshing originals!
MANU XAVIER is a singer/songwriter & multi-instrumentalist. Representing the Modern Rock genre as a high energy live music performer with her band inside the Boston alternative scene, Manu is a prime example of the new wave in this generation of artists. With inspiration ranging from Led Zeppelin to the Arctic Monkeys, she has created her signature sound characterized by her raw, intense lyrics and clinging guitar riffs.
giAnna is a Philly-born artist currently based in Boston whose music blends bedroom pop rock with an indie folk flair. Her soulful vocals are full of heart, and her genre-bending style takes inspiration from artists like the Beatles, quickly, quickly, Clairo, and more. Her lyrics cut deep, weaving stories of self-reflection, the messy beauty of being human, and that nagging sense of not quite fitting in. Through her artistry, giAnna aims to forge a deep, emotional connection with her audience, reminding everyone the importance of nurturing their inner child. As a Sofar Sounds artist, giAnna has played multiple venues and spaces around Boston, as well as sets in noticeable venues such as the Red Room, Warehouse XI, and the Rockwell.
