Phoenix's Debut Album "Glass Rose" is a 10 song story concept album that walks through the lifetime of an abusive relationship from meeting to murder. Spanning folk to pop rock this album takes you through the main characters' fall then rise from abuse. Opening performance by Mads Jupiter.
Phoenix Davis (they/them) is a queer disabled singer songwriter who creates and performs music to make people feel less alone. They have been performing and writing since they were 7 years old and they are currently working on getting degrees in Performance and Professional Music with concentrations in Music Business, Music Production, and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. As a queer disabled person, they strive to create inclusive music experiences that anyone can feel heard and seen in whether that be a gender neutral love song, or a song showcasing the trials of life as a disabled person. This show will center around their Debut album "Glass Rose", a story album telling the story of a toxic relationship and the main character regaining their inner strength.
Mad Jupiter is a trans bassist and artist based in Boston, MA. They write alt neo soul and rock infused music for frogs and fairies that primarily explores themes of identity, existentialism and whimsy. With their music, they create a space where people feel comfortable to be freaks with other freaks. After all, we are the best version of ourselves when we embrace the ugly.
