Joey Jr.

Using his fondness for nature, Joey forges folk music that implements flora and fauna acting as a layer of romanticism, as well as hints of religious imagery. Hailing from the suburbs of Wisconsin, Joey uses Indie Folk and Alternative music platforms for talking about queer love with a midwest lens. Inspired by artists like Searows, Jake Minch and Slow Pulp, Joey speaks from relatable experiences, creating a moment of euphoric healing and acknowledgement. Themes within his music include coming of age, religious trauma, LGBTQIA+ dating and sexual reconnaissance.
