The 10th Anniversary of the Solo Piano Improvisations of Keith Jarrett Ensemble: Students All-Star Concert Series
This concert marks the kickoff of a special series celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Solo Piano Improvisations of Keith Jarrett Ensemble in the Piano Department at Berklee College of Music.
The performance highlights a decade of student engagement with Keith Jarrett’s improvisational legacy, featuring both former and current piano students from around the world who have participated in the ensemble over the past ten years.
Under the direction of Professor Hey Rim Jeon, students explore and interpret Jarrett’s approach to spontaneous solo piano improvisation while discovering and developing their own unique artistic voices.
This special anniversary event offers a rare opportunity to experience up-close, live solo piano performances by the next generation of rising jazz pianists.
