The Persistent Fools are a collective of musicians who for the past decade have been improvising music together and developing their simple method of long form spontaneous creation in a variety of settings including attics, parking garages, public parks and occasionally traditional music venues. We practice radical acceptance, listening deeply to each other and following to the best of our abilities wherever the music leads, avoiding judgment or attachment to any particular ideas we may have about what "should be", instead immersing ourselves in "what is". The result is an evolving soundscape that can be beautifully hypnotic, intensely chaotic or even laugh-out-loud funny.
