With a full band, Cambridge's John Shakespear celebrates the release of Hail Bohemia, a concept album about three friends and Boston's music scene. Rising NYC trio Telescope Club opens.
John Shakespear
John Shakespear is a songwriter from Cambridge, currently splitting time between Brooklyn and Boston. His debut solo album, Spend Your Youth, caught the attention of WBUR and American Songwriter, earning comparisons to the work of Elliott Smith and Fleet Foxes. Influenced by the eye for detail and character that defines his other art as a fiction writer, he crafts songs and albums that are worlds of their own.
Telescope Club
Telescope Club is a trio that plays indie pop/folk/punk. Hailing from NYC and Maine, Telescope Club is Noah and Khaya writing and fronting the group, with Em holding it down on drums.
