Narah is a Boston-based musician who expanded her recent interest in Brazilian music through lessons with Gabriel Maia, a Brazilian musician based in NYC who graduated from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. To commemorate one year of learning and exploration, she is performing a local concert with Gabriel, featuring Brazilian rhythms such as samba and bossa nova, partido alto, and baião from Northeast Brazil. An evening of two guitars, two voices, and a celebration of Brazil’s rich musical heritage.
